This policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Merchant Performance Group, and its wholly owned subsidiaries, (collectively “Company”) collects, receives, processes, uses, discloses, or shares your information.  When you use our sites, products, or services, or otherwise form a relationship with us, we may obtain data from you and the devices you are using to do so.

This policy is designed to provide transparency into our privacy practices and principles in a format you can navigate, read, and understand.  

We commit to treating your personal information with care and respect and encourage you to contact us using the methods provided should you have any questions or concerns about the use of your information. 

1. THE SCOPE OF THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes the processing of information provided or collected on this Website or through our services. In some instances, we may provide additional data privacy notices specific to certain products, practices, or regions. Those terms should be read in conjunction with this Privacy Policy. 

This Privacy Policy does not cover any information that we may receive about you through sources other than the use of our Website, or services. The Website may link to other websites or mobile applications, but this Privacy Policy does not and will not apply to any of those linked websites or applications.

This means that you also consent to the use of your information and the method of disclosure as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not understand the Privacy Policy or do not agree to it then you agree to immediately cease your use of our Website.

When we receive a request to exercise a privacy right, we will review information we have collected about you (if any) with identifying information you may have provided us (such as email address, mailing address, zip code) to authenticate your identity.  If you use an authorized agent to submit a request, we may require the authorized agent to provide proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request. We may also require you to directly confirm with us that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request. 

There may be situations where we cannot grant your request. In such a situation, we will explain our reasoning to you and will honor your right to appeal where applicable. 


3. INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

In the preceding 12 months, Company may have collected or processed the categories of personal information that are identified below. We generally collect the information listed below to secure, improve, and provide our services to our customers.

  • Identifiers such as a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address or other similar identifiers. 
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an internet website application, or advertisement.
  • Geolocation data, such as IP address. 
  • Inferences data, drawn from any of the information identified in this subdivision to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.
  • Cookies: We may collect information from you through automatic tracking systems (such as information about your browsing preferences) as well as through information that you volunteer to us (such as information that you provide during a registration process or at other times while using the Website, please see more below under Section 9).

We may disclose anonymized or aggregated data at our discretion, in accordance with applicable laws. 

7. YOUR CONTROLS AND CHOICES

You can control how and when you want to receive marketing emails from Company by clicking informing us directly.  This will not affect your receipt of administrative emails (for example, emails about your request for services or our policy changes).

8. OUR COMMITMENT TO PROTECTING INFORMATION BELONGING TO CHILDREN

Our services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information via our website and services from children. If you use our services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority under the laws of the jurisdiction of your place of residence. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information or violation of applicable law, please alert us at the email address at the bottom of this page and we will promptly take steps to delete such information and.
